There will be entertainment in the clubhouse on the Saturday and Sunday evenings and the bar will be open on various nights during the week. In addition there will be the usual events on the rally field including the fabled rally barbecue. Those who attended last year will be pleased to know that the toilets are finished, and very nice they look too. As last year the showers (doubles) will be in use during normal hours. The site is 200 metres from the town centre with its many shops, varied restaurants and hosteiries. For the more gentile there is the renowned Betty's tearoom although the most popular venue last year seemed to be the local supermarket for breakfast. Ilkley Lido and indoor swimming pool are even closer and there are many excellent walks in the area, Ilkley is an ideal base for visiting the Yorkshire Dales and Moors. It is Bronte Country with the locations for many television programmes close by. The city of Leeds has excellent shopping and museums including the Armoury.
